Thankyou James for creating this website. It has offered healing, hope and friendships for people that have such a love for their furry companions..."our canine friends". Thanks again!

JD is our hero dog who calmly projects his presence and is my "fuzzy doorbell" to let me know when patients have arrived or others are on the property by his peculiar barking
We always know how severe the need is when an ambulance goes by, because his howl is like a prayer going out sometimes way before we can hear the siren and long after it's out of range, or perhaps as short chirp of a howl, when he does not even move his head or open his eyes..we know -->ALL is well

Hi James, I so relate to your should I or shouldn't I issue. It took me a year and a 1/2 . I lost my Dad and my beloved dog in the same year. A site that brought, clarity, healing and comfort was www.griefworthy.com and their network sister site www.griefworthy.ning.com. There are so many on their pages who are in the same boat. Just a healing suggestion. And yes, I did fall in love with my new dog. But my Nikki girl will be in this heart of mine forever! The new dog does ease the pain and did make me smile! Check it out if you'd like. Roe

Thank you for your friendship. I'm enjoying your blogs and am so glad to learn that you now have Kanga, since Maui is in an altered state. Blessings to you and yours. -Iva
Hello. I see that www.makemoneywith-google.com is leaveing comments every where again. James can you have your technical people remove and block them please. Thanks!
This video is more precious than gold! Molly you are beautiful!!
I was not so lucky as to have many videos of my beloved TedEbear, but through techonology...AKA http://www.imikimi.com I was able to take my present picture and add TedEbear. So for his upcoming birthday, I can hold him one more time.
thank you - it is going to take a long time to recover from this loss. I had alwasy kept the "I remember love" on my computer but am now unable to find it as those words and pictures always brought comfort. Could you please email it back to me? The last pet that I had pass away was a cat that was 19 1/2 yrs old. He has been gone a little over 5 years. I got 2 new kittens 6 months after he passed away they aren't the same as he was but they still brought a lot of joy to my heart. Having Sindle tho was different and I will not be able to find another one like her. Thanks again!
Hello there James. Been a long time since I last visited IRL. =]
Anyway, whoo, I'm back and you guys have new puppers. Sorry about Maui's passing. RIP dear Mauiluff.
So. I see that some people are disappointed with the fact that you got the pups from a breeder. May I ask, are they breeders that breed champion dogs or just backyard breeders/puppymills? The term "Breeder" should be clarified in your situation.
For me, I strongly detest and my wrath is upon anyone who breeds for cash aka puppymills and some backyard breeders. "Breeders" who don't title their dogs, health test their dog and basically breed just because they want their dogs to produce teeny weeny little uber cutie puppies. THEY are the ones who contribute to overpopulation, plus irresponsible owners as well.
I currently have 6 dogs (rescued one just recently, check out http://www.rlmi.blogspot.com for the post xD) and I think I have the right to have a say in this.
Anyway, if your dogs are BYB/puppymill dogs, I strongly urge you to spay them. The next time one gets a dog, I hope that one will do more research before jumping into it without consideration. Asking for advice will be a great help to you. Do a youtube search on BYBs and puppymills and I sure hope all your thoughts of buying from a pet store or a so called, self proclaimed reputable breeder will flee.
As for having two pups at one go, if you know what you're getting into, and is experienced, I'd say go for it. If you don't have time, no commitment, then don't.

I'd like to clarify my position as posted earlier.
As others have posted, two littermates CAN work, and I have friends who can prove it. On the other hand, these are people with a lot of multi-dog experience. Working in rescue I see a lot of dogs dumped because the owners couldn't handle their needs or couldn't control them, and in too many cases they were littermates acquired together. One of our personal dogs came to us because the original owner was thusly overwhelmed. It's a considerable added stress for the owners. Someday James and Molly will likely be sufficiently multi-dog savvy that they can take on littermates, but I don't think that time is now. I want to maximize the odds that every dog is successful in its new home. Walk now; run later.
From all appearances, Kanga is one very lucky pup. It's obvious that she has humans that are very devoted to her well being right from the start. It's the sort of situation that I wish for for every dog I meet, though for most it's not possible. (I meet a lot of shelter dogs that are about to die.)
I hope you, Molly and Kanga have a great holiday season and come back to us next year with tails ... er ... tales of puppy antics.
What a beautiful sight to see....Kanga and her daddy. I couldn't more happy for the both of you to have found each other. May your Christmas be Merry and Bright. And you new year be filled with love and laughter.
