- About Me:
- The day the purchase of my first home was final (10/31/96), I went out and fulfilled a lifelong dream and bought my dog.
My dog Krypto is like a son to me. He was with me a year before I met my wife, through our 10 year marriage, and has seen me through the 2 years since our divorce.
We just had our 13 year "anniversary" on 10/31/09 and I still believe that Krypto is a little miracle and I thank God for him every day.
- What is one thing your dog does that reminds you to open your heart and love more deeply?
- The way he always loves no matter what mood I'm in, what kind of day I've had, etc.

- Pets are very much part of my family. Rio went with me everywhere. When Oliver joined our family then it was double the pleasure. Both of them together "the boys" as they were affectionately called. Rio became ill, but as you know reading my profile and his story Rio was a real trooper. I couldn't just toss him aside at the end. He was my best friend for 12 years so I owed him the best final goodbye a friend could give another friend. When he passed away in my arms at the end it wasn't how I thought it would be. He had been in failing health after his 12th birthday and I had already talked with the vet about "the time" and she was going to allow me to bring him home to have him buried. She understood the bond I had with him. I never wanted to take him to the vet and have him put to sleep...so at the end when he passed away in my arms we were together. I'm just glad I was there for him. I still get teary eyed with I think of that morning. Cherish your every moment with Krypto......

- I've had Oliver since he was 9 weeks old....so its been 10 years of pure joy. I had another Maltese named Rio who had for 12 yrs. Unfortunately, Rio had been ill and passed away on June 28, 2008. I still miss Rio. However, Oliver has helped me with the grieiving tremendously. Oliver comes with me to work.....I'm so lucky to have him. Be sure to accept Olivers friend request !

Dogs are so special. I consider Oliver a son as well. He is with me 24/7 and loves me no matter what : ) Their love is priceless !
