Thankyou James for creating this website. It has offered healing, hope and friendships for people that have such a love for their furry companions..."our canine friends". Thanks again!

JD is our hero dog who calmly projects his presence and is my "fuzzy doorbell" to let me know when patients have arrived or others are on the property by his peculiar barking
We always know how severe the need is when an ambulance goes by, because his howl is like a prayer going out sometimes way before we can hear the siren and long after it's out of range, or perhaps as short chirp of a howl, when he does not even move his head or open his eyes..we know -->ALL is well

Hi James, I so relate to your should I or shouldn't I issue. It took me a year and a 1/2 . I lost my Dad and my beloved dog in the same year. A site that brought, clarity, healing and comfort was www.griefworthy.com and their network sister site www.griefworthy.ning.com. There are so many on their pages who are in the same boat. Just a healing suggestion. And yes, I did fall in love with my new dog. But my Nikki girl will be in this heart of mine forever! The new dog does ease the pain and did make me smile! Check it out if you'd like. Roe

Thank you for your friendship. I'm enjoying your blogs and am so glad to learn that you now have Kanga, since Maui is in an altered state. Blessings to you and yours. -Iva

Missy loves Christmas time. She usually is wearing some sort of bow or neckerchief with jingle bells. She loves to smell the newly wrapped presents, and her best fun is helping us unwrap presents when the family is here.
Kanga sure is pretty.Sounds like my Teddy with a mind of his own..Sit when I am ready.Too much to see.Merry Christmas to you and your family.Teddy and Lynda..
I am the author of the best selling book "How to Meditate with Your Dog: An Introduction to Meditation for Dog Lovers."
I also created a video valentine for my dog in February 2007 and put it online at DoYouRememberLove.com. Over 2.5 million people have watched the video and the number continues to grow.
I live in Maui, Hawaii with my wife and Maui. We have a very happy pack.
What is one thing your dog does that reminds you to open your heart and love more deeply?
Maui and I meditate almost every morning together. This really opens my heart and prepares me for the day. After our meditation session (which lasts from 10-20 minutes), I feel I am prepared for anything.
